History

Agape Budgeting Service commenced in 1993 operating under the Community Christian Charitable Trust (CCCT) which was aligned to Lower Hutt Baptist Church (Now Hutt City Baptist Church).  By 1997 the service provided had grown to the extent where it was necessary to set up Agape as an independent organisation and Agape Budgeting Service Ltd. was formed.  The CCCT is still a significant supporter of Agape but is now also joined by a number of other support organisations throughout the Wellington region.

Agape Budgeting Service is an active member of Christian Budgeting New Zealand (CBNZ)
